"I have to support this because the world needs more love, empathy, and humility. We need to stop all wars. Enough killing. Love is the key..."

David Beer DJ & House music legend

This Is Not a Time for Silence, so let's make some noise

Children are dying—not just from bombs, but from hunger, disease, and neglect.

Artists for Gaza is a collective of cultural workers from the UK standing with Gaza and the Palestinian cause. We amplify Palestinian voices through artists’ platforms, using music and art to mobilise solidarity and protest what leading experts and global institutions have recognised as genocide.

Rooted in the traditions of Rock Against Racism and the Anti-Apartheid Movement, our campaign shows that art and music can move people to confront political and social injustice. Many of our collaborators have long histories of commitment to social justice and anti-racism.

In just three events, we have raised nearly £50,000 for UNICEF’s Gaza Appeal. But this is more than fundraising: it is a cultural front of resistance, declaring that silence in the face of atrocity is not an option.

Gaza: A War on Children

UNICEF has described Gaza as “a graveyard for thousands of children.” (UNICEF)

  • Over 17,000 children killed, and 33,000+ injured since the war began (UNICEF)
  • More than 50,000 children killed or injured in total (UNICEF)
  • 5,119 children admitted for acute malnutrition treatment in May 2025 (UNICEF)
  • 71,000 children projected to need urgent treatment for acute malnutrition (UNICEF)
  • 13.5% of children acutely malnourished as of August 2025; in Gaza City it reached 19% (UNICEF)
  • 90% of children unable to access the nutrients needed for healthy growth (UNICEF)
  • 658,000 children are out of school due to destruction of education infrastructure (UNICEF)

Children are dying from preventable diseases, dehydration, and hunger. Their right to education, play, and safety has been obliterated. This is not collateral damage—it is the systematic destruction of a generation.

Our Response

We are DJs, musicians, artists, and community organisers standing in urgent solidarity with Gaza. Through three major events, over 40 iconic artists have come together, raising funds for food, medicine, water, and shelter.

From London to Rafah, we declare:
Music alone cannot stop bombs, but it speaks louder than silence.
